Terms & Disclaimers

The boundaries of the platform, its results, and every professional role

These terms apply across the preliminary assessment, the Program and Opportunity Explorers, and the callback process. Reading them takes about two minutes.

Legal boundaries

What Avenir is — and is not

Five boundaries define what Avenir Canada is — and is not. Each one governs product behaviour, contracts, and professional supervision alike — not only how it is worded.

No government affiliation

Avenir Canada is not a government agency, an immigration law firm, a securities dealer, or a real-estate brokerage. It does not act on behalf of, or represent, any government body.

No guarantee of outcome

Nothing on this platform is a guarantee of business success, investment return, or immigration outcome. Preliminary assessment results are not an eligibility decision.

Professional roles are separate

Where a regulated conclusion is required — immigration, legal, tax, accounting, or securities — it is provided by a separately identified, authorized professional under their own engagement. Their conclusion does not overwrite the automated report; both remain visible.

External opportunities

Business opportunities shown in the Opportunity Explorer are identified through owners, participating brokers, and established third-party sources. Avenir does not represent the seller of an external opportunity unless expressly stated, and does not guarantee the accuracy of seller-supplied information.

No pooled funds

This platform does not solicit pooled investors, advertise shares or returns, raise capital, or collect acquisition funds or deposits. No investment principal can be paid through the platform.

Precedence

A disclaimer does not cure a system that is actually designed to give personalized paid advice — our product behaviour, contracts, and professional supervision are built to match this wording, not just state it.

Where any page and these terms appear to conflict, these terms and the full legal documents they reference take precedence. Regulated conclusions are only ever issued by separately identified, authorized professionals under their own engagement.
